Costume Mirror
You can finally see a costume on your own character before buying it. A Costume Mirror has moved into the Palace of O-Ro, just behind the bank — the palace entrance is at /navi prontera 204/175.
It shows every active costume in the shop, sorted by slot: upper headgear, middle accessory, lower accessory. You wear them for the length of the fitting, and your original look comes back on its own. It sells nothing: purchases still happen on the website, in Oro Tokens.
The mirror takes the place of the Dead Branch Room NPC, which is therefore no longer accessible.
Daily gift
An NPC hands out a login gift in Prontera, /navi prontera 170/179. One gift per day and per account: switching character does not open it again.
- The run has 20 tiers, and you move up one step with every gift claimed
- Missing a day does not reset the counter. You pick up where you left off
- Past the twentieth tier, the run starts over at the first
- The reward table holds no Tokens and no rare items: consumables and zeny only, so nothing is injected into the economy. The twentieth tier pays out 100,000 zeny
The day rolls over at midnight UTC, which means late afternoon or evening for Latin America.
Duels
The @duel command is open to every player, along with @invite, @accept, @reject and @leave.
PvP balance
- Fly Wing and Butterfly Wing: after damaging another player, they are locked for 10 seconds. Hit and vanish is over
- Estun no longer stuns automatically: against a player, the chance drops to 20%. Against monsters, nothing changes
- The Soul Linker "Es" spells — Estin, Estun, Esma, Eswoo, Eske, Eska — are banned during WoE and Naval War
Law of Blood
Defending yourself no longer costs you Glory. Self-defence only recognised one victim per aggressor: someone attacking several players was flagged towards the first one only, and everyone after that lost Glory for fighting back.
Every person attacked is now recognised as a victim. Conversely, fighting back no longer makes the aggressor look like the victim.
Territories
A territory owner can no longer destroy their own totem. That was the way to reposition it wherever they pleased.
Various fixes
- MVP: monsters summoned by an MVP no longer drop Oro Tokens. They respawned endlessly, which opened the door to unlimited farming
- Card announcements: they did not fire when the player was in an Even Share party. They work again, and correctly name whoever received the card
- Purple Box: the box promised by "This is My Way!" was never handed out. It is now
- Ninja: the quest was granting two Asura instead of one
